Christiane Mauro is a certified Practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. Mauro earned her master's in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York. Along with learning the principles of TCM and its tools, Mauro is trained in Western bio-medicine with orthopedic and neurological evaluation, pathophysiology, pharmacology and nutrition counseling. Mauro practices Reiki, Tai Ji, Qi Gong and Zheng Gu Tui Na (Chinese orthopedic massage) and incorporates these techniques into her treatment plans. Mauro's continued studies in energy healing, birth support and counseling are a benefit for all patients in her general practice and part of her work as a doula.
